6P at Enviro
Recently 6P had an awesome Term 1 Enviro Day with Mr Gemmell & Miss Nat.
They had a wonderful day and positively engaged in all activities. Some of those tasks included cooking with Miss Nat, whipping up banana scones and pigeon pea curry. They also spent time collecting, classifying leaves and exploring the cell structure of them. Thanks Mr Gemmell & Miss Nat for a great day!
6P in the Class Room
This term, all 6P students are reading 'Boy Overboard' by author Morris Gleitzman. Each week a different group of students take on a role and work together to facilitate the BookClub. At the end of the week they present their findings to classmates. The BookClub consists of a discussion director, summariser, connector, passage picker, word master and illustrator. All students are interested in the story of Jamal and his family, set in a dangerous place. Pictured here are those students who have taken on a role and presented to the class over the past couple of weeks. We look forward to continuing this routine within the classroom and finding out what happens next in the book.
