Enrolment Management Plan (EMP)
An
Enrolment Management Plan is current at Eumundi State School to ensure the school total enrolments do not exceed current classroom facilities capacity. School Enrolment Management Plans ensure that Prep - Year 6 students are guaranteed enrolment at the state school closest to their principal place of residence, through the School EMP procedure.
Not all Queensland state schools have a School EMP in place. Catchment maps define the geographical area from which schools take their principal intake of students. Please click on the link below which will take you to the catchment map. You will then need to type in your address in the box at the left of the screen, and it will show which school catchment you are contained by.
If you are outside the catchment area you do have the option to place your child's name on a waiting list.
If you reside in a location where you can access
a School Transport Assistance Scheme (STAS) bus service, provided by the Department of Transport and Main Roads (DTMR), to travel to your closest school, as determined by the DTMR bus route you are entitled to enrolment. These bus services travel to Belli Park, Eerwah Vale, Doonan and Verrierdale. More information on exact routes can be obtained from the School Administration or the Bus Company directly.
