Makerspace @ Eumundi State School!!!
The makerspace movement is about developing a space that encourages an innovative, hands-on approach to teaching and learning.  In 2016, Eumundi State School was one of 116 state primary and high schools that secured a $16,600 grant to nurture the next generation of digital entrepreneurs.   We have established a permanent space (Arthouse) and currently have classes ‘tinkering’ in the space whilst developing essential skills to create preferred futures.  We are currently working on various projects in the space including the ICT club who have been building and coding Makeblock robots.  Here is a sneak peak of some of the projects we have been working on and we will look forward to sharing our projects with an open house event very soon.
